Across Atlantic Development UK is a Eurodesk Ambassador with the main aim of spreading the word about Eurodesk UK and European mobility opportunities in our day-to-day work and activities.
Eurodesk UK is an information and support service to help young people and youth organisations find out about opportunities in Europe.
The Eurodesk UK website gives tailored information for young people aged 13-30 on the different opportunities available in Europe and an insight into what it’s like to take part in European youth projects.
The difficulties facing humanitarian actors are growing as crises become more complex and uncertainties more numerous. Adaptation to context, comprehensive and systematic understanding, critical thinking are part of the preconditions in order to develop creativity and set relevant, qualitative and accountable responses.
We invite you to join the course on International Project Management, Proposal Writing and Fund Sourcing Training Program which will be held in Birmingham (UK) from 2nd
till 8th December 2019!
During the course, participants will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of project management, with regards to European Union standard using Erasmus standard. They will learn how to write a project charter, how to determine project objectives, and how to assess risks. They will be introduced to the theory of budgeting. In addition to fundamentals of project management participants will have sessions on how to prepare a high-quality business plan, business model canvases will be introduced, as well as how to source funding both locally and internationally.
In his introductory message, UNODC Executive Director Yury Fedotov stressed the importance of a coordinated international response to the opioid crisis. He noted that UNODC's Strategic Response to the Opioid Crisis "provides a platform to effectively address supply and demand, improve access to controlled pain medications while preventing diversion and abuse, and reinforce early warning."

During an EVS, you live between 2 and 12 months in other European countries and work in a social, cultural or ecological project. You get to know another culture and you can see the world and yourself with different eyes, learn a new language, gain practical experience in the world of work, and above all - you have fun! The EVS is funded by the EU under the Erasmus + Youth in Action program, which means that you will receive pocket money as well as free accommodation, food and travel and insurance. Especially if you just do not know what to do after school or graduation, or you want to look into a specific work area, the EVS is just right. Which degree you have does not matter.
AAD was established to makes land safe, freeing people from danger and fear. More than this, AAD’s core goal is working in some of the world’s poorest communities makes it possible for children to go to school in safety, gives better access to health services, and empowers people to make a better living and further landmine and risk education. Crucially, it enables other organisations to safely deliver humanitarian aid and development projects.
Working on strategies at creating a better future for achieving high environmental quality goals. One requirement is that the activity is environmentally positive. We introduce, educate about solar panels, solar cells and other environmental and climate solutions.
This programme aimed to address policy makers' poor understanding of the needs and views of the youths with different ethnic, religion background regarding drug issues. AAD try to explore their views and develop an understanding of how to work with young people from different background for community development.
EVS is a program that Across Atlantic Development organises for young people between 18 and 30 years old. The program covers all the costs and provides you an unbelievable experience which allows you to improve your soft skills. We are having an excited opportunity to explore Bulgaria as a country for a month under our: Erasmus+ ESC Volunteering teams
